Well, it's not strictly speaking a bar. It is in fact Parker's new winery, Purgatory Cellars. And the owners, Marko Ćopić and Gary Tassler are blending modern American wine-making techniques with Old World natural methods, some dating back thousands of years, to create surprising wines, with BIG flavors that are bound to make you say, "WOW!" and then ask for more.
Parker Lifestyle sent me down to Purgatory to find out about this fascinating and beautifully decorated new business, right in the center of Parker, CO.
The feature will appear in the October issue of Parker Lifestyle magazine. Coming soon!
In the meantime, here are a few teasers....
Below, the ever-changing selection of the Purgatory Cellars wines available for tasting and purchase, while stocks last.

Looking for something to drink at home?
Using mostly Colorado grapes (all the whites and many of the reds are made using local produce), Purgatory is producing many different types of wine.
You can go straight to Purgatory Cellars and taste the wines, to choose something to bring home.
Or find a selection of their wines, including their award-winning Zinfandel, in these local wine shops (at right), while supplies last.
