Double T Stables in Parker teams up with Palomino Pals to offer recreational riding to children with a large range of special needs, from cerebral palsy to autism. The program has been developed to aid with both physical and mental development in these precious young riders, who each bond with their favorite mount.
Paws & Read attended the summer 2011 Rodeo, where all the kids came out to complete their course, with the help of the Double T Stables staff and Palomino Pals volunteers. This Saturday, June 16th, will be the 2012 annual children's rodeo, with lots of smiles from all the wonderful families, volunteers and happy kids!
Here's a look back at last year's event:
This was the first event I covered for Paws & Read magazine, one year ago, for the very first issue! To read the latest issue of Paws & Read, pick up a FREE copy at any King Soopers in the Denver South Metro area, or check out the website here: www.pawsandread.com
