This past summer, I spent a fantastic day with my Dad in the top floor studio at The Camera Club, an old institution in Kennington. Dad has been a member of The Camera Club for longer than he probably cares to remember and he is currently the President of this little gem in central London, just south of Waterloo.
While our model's look was being created by the make-up artist, I had the chance to pose Dad and shoot some fun pictures of my clown of a father. I love what we came away with. For me, these images capture his heart and soul, his raw sense of humour, his youthful outlook and the joy that he feels whenever he is in a photography studio -- usually behind the camera, though.
I have finally finished editing my favourite photos and here they are, ready for the old man's sev-eh-hum-er-somethingth birthday.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD! xox
