Mr Dangerfield is a close family friend and lives in the high finance, fast-paced, trendy, chocolate-and-cheese city of Zurich, Switzerland. He arrived here a couple of weeks ago to check out our new home in Colorado and to compare the Rockies to the Alps for boarding... and to make a quick trip to Vegas with my husband. The plan for the latter was "to have a fun trip to the desert and drive down to the Grand Canyon". When I got a voicemail at 9am on the morning that the boys were supposed to be driving down to Arizona, with a garbled message including key phrases "$10,000... robbed... roulette... Champagne... we need a lawyer..." I began to suspect that the small oasis known as Sin City had swallowed up my husband and his friend and was still chewing with no sign of spitting them back out yet! Fortunately, after a day's recovery, they did make it to Arizona and back to Colorado feeling only a little sorry for themselves!!
Before Mr Dangerfield returned to Zurich, we had time to take some portraits in the sweet town of Littleton, CO. We used the Cafe Terracotta as a backdrop. The restaurant is YUMMY, by the way! We sampled Mimosas served with scrumilicious home-made brunch in a beautiful old building filled with cheerful staff and beautiful artwork - I spotted some paintings by my favorite local painter Lyudmila Agrich adorning the walls. If you haven't been there yet, do go. Now. Well, first have a squiz at the portraits...
